The versions of websites used for mobile offers only basic content and a lot of features are missing as compared to full version. The most common features that are missing in mobile version are zooming in and out on articles, photos, and other page elements.

When it comes to Facebook’s Mobile Browser, it can disappoint you in any possible way. It offers the least functionalities like you can not even access the messenger. This means that you can’t text anyone while using Facebook’s Mobile Browser.
It also limits you when it comes to changing your settings or even hiding your very own posts from the newsfeed. The missing features in the mobile browsers are countless. This is why today I will show you how to use Full Facebook Desktop Site From Your Phone.
There are two ways to do it i.e. one you can use on any phone in any browser and I call it Unified method while other is Browser Specific method.

The Unified Method
The reason I call this method the Unified one is that you can use it on any browser or on any OS like Android or iOS. It works with Chrome, Safari or any other browser of your choice.
To start with, you have to open your browser and tap on the search bar. Then you have to add the following URL.
After that, if you are already logged in to Facebook, you will be taken to desktop version with its zoomed out a decent look and multi-column display. You can enjoy using Full Facebook Desktop Site From Your Phone.
If you were not logged in to Facebook already, then you will be asked your ID and Password. Once you provide all your credentials, you will be taken to the old version of your Facebook. Then use the same URL you used above, and you will be automatically taken to the Desktop version site.
It is better if you bookmark the “/home.php” page or you may add it to the home screen of your device. It will be really useful. This method may work for some but may not work for others. Facebook doesn’t really want you to use the full version on your mobile.
This method has a flaw and I suppose that is intentionally created by Facebook as to when you tap on a link or user interface element, Facebook will immediately load the mobile version. So you need to take a look at the Browser specific method.
The Browser Specific Method
Facebook gives you the option of overriding the insistence on showing you one particular version. This option works in both Google Chrome and Safari for both Android and iOS respectively.
The most common browser and most probably the default in all Android devices is Google Chrome. So we will be sharing screenshots of Google Chrome, however, you can use this method to any of third party app as well.
Start by opening your browser and in the browser write “facebook.com” instead of “facebook.com/home.php.” It will load the standard mobile browser’s version. Then on the top right corner, you can see three vertical dots which is a drag down menu.
In that drop-down menu, look for the third last option, that is “Request Desktop Site” or simply a dialogue box with titled “Desktop Site”. Just check that option and you will be redirected to Full Facebook Desktop Site From Your Phone.
If you want to get back the mobile version of Facebook, you can simply uncheck that option which will take you to the standard mobile version browser site.
The process explained for Google Chrome in Android is almost the same one for Safari in iOS. Open the Safari broswer which is deafult in the iOS, then log in to Facebook after using the URL “facebook.com”.
Then tap the share button, that you can see in the Safari browser. Once you tap that button, then you will see different options including print, find on the page, Request desktop site, and more. Choose the “Request Desktop Site”, and it will redirect you to the Full Facebook Desktop Site From Your Phone.
If you want to change from Full Facebook Desktop Site to the standard mobile browser version, revert the process and this time tap “Request Mobile Site” and you will be back to classic mobile version.
You may experience some glitches while using Full Facebook Desktop Site like sometimes when you request desktop site, you will be redirected to tablet version of the mobile site. If this happens this means that page is requesting a desktop version of “m.facebook.com,”.
So to cater this problem, you just need to re-enter the URL as “www.facebook.com” into your browser with the “Request desktop site” box still checked. This is resolve the issue.
